As far as other obscure oddities go, I suppose the tcg world is your oyster. For example, I collect cards of crying pokemon just for the shit of it, there can be a lot if you start looking. Sometimes I focus on certain illustrators or just now, in the cards based on photographs. You could even pick an obscure pokemon and collect based on it, like Pineco or Whiscash or idk
