>>45860241The chibi overworld sprites do look ugly when compared to gen 3 and 4 overworld sprites,and the pseudo 3D doesn't do the maps any favours, either. And the sprite during the actual battle are ugly and pixelated as all hell, but that's already been said many times (see Tyranitar.jpg).
In all honesty, I don't get why pokemon fans are so delusionally retarded and believe pokemon have amazing graphics, even though it's always been proven that maps from other games on the same consoles are much better designed with much more impresive art. It's like pokemon fans can only go "HuRr DuRr Le BrIgHt CoLoRs On Le TrEe!!!! SuCh SoUl!!!!!"
