I'm assuming they'll update the game with every new mythical instead of adding them in the game in advance like they've been doing since gen 4

Two placeholder slots for what 2020/2021 movie mythicals. Guessing DP remakes will either have a brand new one, or finally give us an in-game Arceus event (or raid battle with Home reward) in '22.

Gen II newfag. While Mew WAS added, no cunt knew about it at launch. Gen II was the first Gen they intentionally added an event-only pokémon.

They just learned how to update datatables so now we can't know.
Also, there were never "spots", any time a game was mined what was found was the outright mon, not a "spot".

The datamine just before launch revealed 435 pokémon in-code and two slots scrubbed of data in the index. They still add them to the games.
