Shit, even XY had all the 'Dex and it was a woefully forgettable game and with them now hovering around 900, cutting the 'Dex into chunks ofmore-easily processed blocks of models (SS, IoA, CT, new game), they get to put all pokémon in the National 'Dex into their games, without having to impact development of any of those games, to the extent they were in Gen VI or VII. This isn't just for Ge VIII, this is for every Gen in the future, when they do go over a thousand.
