best atmosphere the games had yet imo, the overworld and music looks really nice, big step up from gen 4
compared to 5 the gen 6 games look kind of lifeless

They put some life and color back into the region and character design. It was a big step up from Sinnoh, I had forgotten like 80% of pearl by the time B/W came out.
