Say what you will Hop is by far the best of the friendly rivals cause he's the only one that actually feels like your friend, and part of that has to do with all the scenes where you just hang out with him.
Shit on SuMo's gameplay and overall plot but there's a reason the internet went crazy for pretty much every character in the game. They finally figured out how to write them properly.
