>>45877135The problem with HMs was never not having a Pokemon that can use them, it was that it took up a move slot with something that was probably garbage. Unless you're doing some sort of weird challenge, you'd probably have a Pokemon in your team that would conceivably be capable of cutting a bush, pushing a rock, or carrying a human over water or in the air. Like, if you don't have a water type or Pokemon that has some access to water then you've probably failed at teambuilding, intentionally or not.
