Most modern JRPGs still do all those things he's complaining about. If you're applying those complaints to Swoosh there's no reason not to apply them to all the GBA and DS games you enjoy cock sucking.

Also GBA and DS games are still far FAR off from something on the Switch, and even then people with those didn't found it a problem because the game exceeded in many other aspects

I can see your point but the matter is the critique comes from the fact that not only they keep cutting corners everywhere but they can't present two few angles that remained in a good way, like how for ex. they can't animate a crowd clapping during a cutscene in the main story or fucking add some singing that without it turns that moment with Pierce into a super cringe moment
