Blipbug is not an amazing design by any means and it's basic as far as the bookworm trope goes but it's not horrendously bad. It's average.

I really dislike it but it wasn't an unsalvageable design by any means. Even something as subtle as >>45887916 makes it infinitely more tolerable. That said, Dottler isn't really any better off and the line ends up being carried by how good Orbeetle is.
