So other than making the models for GameFreak, what the fuck does Creatures do? I mean we know they own a 3rd of the franchise but what do they even do?

In the past at least they made spinoffs. Off the top of my head they're credited for the Ranger games.

They handle everything that isn’t the main games, basically. The Pokemon Company is the managerial arm that coordinates all interactions between Nintendo, Creatures and Gamefreak and also the brand name used for everything, but Creatures is the company that actually handles all the other stuff.
