I don't see a problem with it, the real issue is lore wise we already know that Z moves do not work outside of Alola and Dynamax doesn't work outside of Galar, the only method that works worldwide is Mega evolution and while they nyx'd it for gen 8 they still brought it back for Masters,Lets go,Go and the anime still promotes it even through megas aren't the power houses they were back in gen 6 anymore, if anything they've become jobbers, Kukui's Incinaroar defeated a mega arron, guzma defeated a mega kangakhan and Bea defeated a mega lucario.
