You can't trade between gen1/2 to gen3, so no, best you can do is use pkhex or virtual console and send your party to pokebank

I'm pretty sure you can't transfer Pokemon from GSC to RSE.

most games you can't transfer pokemon from previous games until your a fair way through the game, and whats the point of using the same team across every single gen if it's not specifically for your first playthrough of each of them

yes that's the only "break". you can transfer up from the Virtual Console versions of Gen 1 and 2 to Gen7+ tho.

Not him but due to not having any friends to play with I had no idea you could transfer mons from older series and wasn't aware of the gen2-gen3 break until I checked a couple months ago.

Not him, but I believe there are lots of people who never done a IRL trade. I've been playing since Yellow, and the first time I traded Pokémon with another human being was on the DS, thanks to the internet. My first IRL trade was on XY.

Gen 3 was a complete reformat of how Pokemon were written, so it's incompatible with Gen 2.
