well, aqua jet doesn't hurt

but mainly it's the high power adaptability-boosted stab attacks. crawdaunt's a wallbreaker, and wallbreakers only need to be faster than the walls they break

Most SFMA's aren't actually strong enough to make them worth using in spite of their slowness and frailness.
