Do any anons think it's possible that they'll do another DLC pack for Sword and Shield, either this year or next year? They still haven't expanded Galar to include Wales and Ireland inspired areas, and there are still Pokemon that haven't been added to the game yet. The game also has logos and uniforms and symbols for gyms not used in the main story. Maybe the DLC could contain another season of the Pokemon League Challenge?

A third DLC is really unlikely. They already released the complete version for last year, and I doubt Gamefreak would want to release just another DLC for the anniversary.

I think you cunts need to come to terms with Dexit being final.The devs said they weren't adding everything to Sword/Shield and as they've proved, they never add new areas to explore in-game without adding pokemon unavailable in the previous edition for capture (literally every rehash since Gen III, including the DLC this Gen). Them bundling the DLC into a GotY package and selling it's another indication. This is a kid's series and they're keenly aware of optics, especially when relying on parents to buy their product for their kids.

Yep and they have a penchant for remaking older games to sell to kids when they move to brand-new hardware. I'd expect a remake before more DLC. After all, they've proved third versions/rehashes are weighted less than brand-new Gens are, they scrapped a rehash to release a remake after all (not to mention adjusted how they did the rehashes to do a paired version release, just like their new Gen games come in pairs too).

Those are minor league gyms. The whole point is they're weaker than the 8 you faced in the story.

They won't necessarily do that.

I've seen the list left and very few people would be excited for that roster, since it's almost completely terrible Pokemon. They're also probably saving most/all of them for whatever remake comes out this gen.

I think the point was just to give players the option to dress up in the uniform of their favorite type. I have serious doubts that GF even bothered to create the other gym leaders that should supposedly fill those uniforms.

Doesn't matter, it was a EPL reference, with how promotion/relegation works in their football pyramid. In the case of Sword/Shield both show differing promoted teams.

I think they should save Ireland for being its own unique game though.
