>>45907627Its right. Cinderace and anthro pokemon have good designs by basic standards. Not by pokemon standards. They are popular because they look cool, and many see them as cool fighters. But pokemon isn't just some characters battling, they do not fit in the pokemon universe.
Anthro shit would work better on something like shin megami tensei, or other franchise. Pokemon are the animal equivalent in that universe, pokemon like machamp and mr mime already looked weird in gen 1 if you were to start thinking of them as pets, that could be eating from a bowl on the floor
