DLC for past Pokémon games

If you could give DLC to any past Pokémon games, which game would give it and what would it have in it? Ignore pricing and hardware limitations.

Obligatory ORAS mention since that game badly needed the BF as DLC, to the point where it seemed like they were teasing it
But seriously speaking, XY. They clearly needed it the most, the rest of the games genuinely feel pretty finished so I don’t feel like DLC would fit.

Gen 6 is unironically the only good answer.

I would have loved to have more story and quests involving the Ultra Beasts in Sun/Moon. Mind you, I didn't play USUM so I don't know if there was more stuff to do there. I always wanted to explore the ultra beast's planets and find out more about Nanu, Looker and Anabel.

We kind of got that in USUM but it’s just glorified hallways that lead you to the UB. The designs and themes and for the worlds are cool though

usum did just that. unfortunately the ultra spaces are just hallways to an ultra beast. they’re kinda cool in concept. i like the guzzlord ultra space bc lorefag.

What XY needed was not DLC but the third version. Rewrites were desperately needed.
