>>45916197>but why would I not buy it if I want the product and it's the only option that exists? how am I supposed to see the future?Wait a year or two to see if GF makes a third version or a remake, it's a fairly safe bet. Even Gen 6 itself got ORAS, even though their "third version" was canceled. You can always play the first version if nothing happens, just a few years late. Unless you're REALLY into random online battles in the later titles, you can even bug WFG to play with you unless another generation has already come out. Even the DLC follows this theory, you can physically buy the game with a code for the DLC bundled in, this time it costs 90 dollars. Waiting to buy SS does make you miss out on some raids though, which technically are missable content of decent significance, at least as much as the download tournaments from B2W2, or some obscure Global Link thing I'm forgetting about.
>DP having more than 2 fire types in the regional dex couldn't be in the base game? That's a retarded balance issue, that's like saying Gen 1 having a ton of poison types was meant to sell you a second version somehow.
>the surfing speed not being complete shit couldn't be in the base game?Given the performance issues it has while not looking nearly as good as Platinum, the only thing that would have fixed it is if they had more development time. I could say that about a lot of Pokemon games though.
>yeah that must be why every other game conveniently didn't have move tutors, right? That's more of an easy thing they can say they added to help sweeten the deal. A lot of move tutors are extremely arbitrary.
If you're going to shit talk third versions, at least bring up the times they left data related to it in the code, like the empty alternate form data in the DS games, or the God Stone in BW that turned out to be fucking nothing. Or hell, the XY "third version" stubs.
