>>45926393>I still don't understand why gamefreak are so addicted to lying even when they have no reason to.They don't seem to think "We want to sell Home suscriptions" is a good output so they have to lie, the thing is that they didn't settle on a narrative.
There's also the fact that they might not know what the fandom knows about these games so they thought they could lie about the models(though Xatu alone entirely disproves them without needing to mine anything).
But they also avoided ackonwledging things a previous casual player would know, like the fact competitions in previous games(and SWSH) have filters for usable mons which they never addressed and obvously that it'd be impossible to make every single mon viable given NFEs are worse than FEs and Eviolite doesn't always make up for the difference.
The other problem is that we proved them right, we are really stupid as a collective.
>100%, there still would have been a controversy if they just said "hey, this is our first big hd mainline game, unfortunately we can't include all of the pokemon at launch without significant delays, but we plan to add many over time through updates" but the controversy would have died down a lot sooner. Not really, do you still not get what the controversy is? Its about the new policy, not that mons wont be added through DLC. Remember that at the time of the announcement(and the ensuing controversy) we didn't know how many mons would actually be in SWSH(so it could've even been the 600+ we have now).
>And naturally, every single one of them was disproven in hours.Again, by non-retards who actually understand how software and the pokemon franchise works which is not normies and the majority of the fanbase sadly.
>>45926302Honestly, it would be a step up if the at least acknowledged that they entirely bought into the "models remade from scratch narrative" and then shifted and that if GF siad one thing and did the other then that'd be enough to call them liars.
