God I wish they'd just dump the old games on the eShop. Yeah yeah I know "but if they did that then no one would buy the inevitable remakes" or some shit but we're not going to see remakes of BW until at least the next console generation and they're not going to re-remake gens I-III. Just put up the ROMs and let us pay an already overpriced download cost. You could do it for gens I and II on the 3DS, you can do it here and now.

I think since the way Nintendo has been handling classic games lately it is more likely we will get the old roms as free with Nintendo online like they did with the NES and SNES games or they will sell them all as a Bundle for $60

Also I expect X and Y will be remade first as the models are already all made unlike older gens (Expect 1 as Go Pikachu/Eevee was the gen one remake) which the closest thing to official models they have are trainer models for pokemon masters but even more likely we won't get crap

and yet XY are one of the best games in the series. Playtime doesn't mean shit when half of your time is expended by loading screens and transitions. Gen 5 and 6 are notorious for being the fastest engines the series has to offer and no one ever tries to dick measure playtime for those games because they know that with any other game it's a false metric.
Off yourself. Platinum, HGSS, and BW2 will always be the uncontested peak of the series unless GameFreak gets off their ass and can at LEAST match the same energy Black/White and X/Y had.

Not to offend but X/Y isn't that good. I mean I was unique and did stuff other games couldn't but it's just red and blue in a new region. Team flare is just team rocket but we're gonna nuke the planet, you get a mew2 in a cave like gen1, and heck you get the gen 1 starters in addition to the regions starters.
I mean Megas were cool, the story was good in places, and the touch screen stuff was useful but other than that there wasn't much to do after the story and the looker side quest was finished.
