>>45921691I bought my first cards ever at my local comic book shop (RIP old buddy), told the cool guy owner I wanted to buy pokemon cards and that these were first pokemon cards so he said "wait a minute, I'll pick out some extra special lucky packs just for you, I'm magic like that", he goes in the back of the shop and returns with 3 packs, 1 Base Set, 1 Jungle, 1 Fossil. And what do you know, I pull pic related of the first pack, holo Snorlax out of the second, and holo Gengar out of the third. In retrospect, I'm sure he weighed the packs and therefore knew these packs all had holos in them, but to give them to a excited kid rather than keep them all for himself was still a very kind thing to do. They're all in shitty condition now though, I was a stupid kid.
