>>45922673>correct, I don't like the 3D games. not only are they bad pokemon games, I think they are legitimately just bad video gamesWhat kind of shit reasoning is this? You could've just given it more healthy, and understandable criticism, this is proof that you CLEARLY haven't played the games, and you most likely copied your opinion from your favorite creator, or some random autist on the internet.
>I don't watch pokemon youtubers, or youtube in general reallyIf you say so, but I highly doubt it.
>Johto is probably my least favorite region, and the pokemon selection and level scaling hold these games back a lot for me. if I had to play them again I would just play the originals because I like the music and aesthetic way more. gen 1 did the interconnected world with differing paths/gym orders better, and gen 3-5 were linear but with big expansive routes with branching paths, lots of trainers, secrets to find, etc.; something lacking in Johto. HGSS don't really offer me anything that other gens don't do batterThe level scaling may be bad, but are you going to ignore the really good post game, gym leaders that you can rebattle, the experience was wonderful with the addition of the pokewalker, the expansive dex, sinjoh ruins, etc. How can you not like it, when those remakes built off of the gen 2 games in every respect.
>I played them as a sophomore in high school when they released, and again in 2018. both times I didn't see what all the hype was about. platinum is a better gen 4 experience, and gen 2 is a better Johto experience, so these games are pretty pointless to me.Even then, I would say you missed out on so much, since the remakes aren't just the same game, they are more than that since you add, and build off features, in every respect possible, which is the point of a remake.
>so why not just play platinumBecause even platinum couldn't compare to the amount of features you missed out on like I said before. 2010 was a fine year.
