Pokémon Light Wave and Pokémon Sound Wave.

The region’s name is Shenxi. It is based on China.

The starters are Bambolin, Moolit, Grusquall

Instead of collecting badges, you have to collect 10 coin like charms which you get by completing challenges based on sport events. Each event is run by an Event Admin, who serve as the gym leaders.

Some events
- Dragon Racing, where you ride a new Chinese dragon pokemon along a sky path where you battle other trainers and avoid flying into clouds. At the end, you will battle the Event Admin, Kay.
- One game is just a board game where you make moves on a giant checkerboard. The game is very simplified.
- A skiing challenge, where you ski down a mountain, avoiding trees and wild pokemon. Event Admin is Gracie.

Team Dragon are like Team Rocket, but more aggressive and more influential in the region.

Like sword and shield, there are regional evolutions. Growlithe evolves into a new fire dragon pokemon. Bonsly and Sudowoodo look like bamboo and get rock and fighting types. A new sword wielding pokemon tries to cut them down.

Mystifly is a fairy and flying type pokemon who live around fountains in each town and city. Possible reference to Zelda games?

There's a fire and grass type called Pyrosa and rock and bug pokemon called Gleamite that lives in caves.
