the games were pretty important to me when I was still meeting new people, it helped me feel safe and powerful in the pokemon world even if the real world was all weird now
I have been playing pokemon since gen 1 - I learned to read playing blue version, but I have the most comfy feelings and distinct nostalgia for the generation 4 games
They're my favourite and I'm eager to see Sinnoh again
