When I was a kid about 8 or so I got my first phone and I could listen to youtube videos to fall asleep. So I listened to a video on putting yourself into a trance to transform into a pokemon. The next day my mom took me to the local pool and I stood under a water spout repeating "Vaporeon" In my head over and over until I finally decided I had transformed and I larped around the pool. I did this every week for a month or so, though I nearly transformed into Jolteon once and I was scared I would electrocute all the other kids in the pools so I stopped.
