So how is Game Freak going to handle the Pokedex in the next game? Are they going to include all 898 Pokemon or will they needlessly dummy out Pokemon from SWSH just to avoid walking back on the dexcut?
Will SWSH and the DP remakes even be compatible?

They probably won't be directly compatible, but transfers will still be possible through Home. Any pokemon not in either game just won't be transferable to that game.
