>>45943647I know it'll never happen, but damn do I want to traverse Orre with Let's Go style buddy pokemon (mount, shoulder mon, or following depending on size not) and see what the region has become now that Cypher's influence is gone and the inspiration from some heroic deeds has lead people to care for the place better so wild pokemon are more abundant and it's safe enough for trainers to travel on journeys of their own. Imagine the routes marked out on the Colosseum map fleshed out into rocky canyon passes, mazes of windswept dunes concealing cave systems that open up into the supposedly abandoned Under or pueblo ruins, vast scrublands with winding branching paths through the bushes where you never know who you'll meet, and over towards the west as you get closer to the coast and the lush forests the sands give way to grasslands and ranches and even a petrified forest near Agate, even the seas surrounding Citadark Isle have calmed enough to go for a dive and explore other islands nearby. Who needs a gym challenge to show your strength when Mt Battle is the true test of champions and Orre Colosseum accepts only the best contestants? Doubles may still be king but with so many formats now you'll need to plan a lot better and train a lot harder to become a master. Of course Ardos is still out there planning something but who knows where he ran off to and all has been quiet for years...
