What do you guys think the fan reception will be to remake's trailer(assuming that the game looks subpar)? I know my group bought swsh expecting something decent but felt burned in the end. Does anyone else feel that future games' sales might actually be affected if the remakes critically fail? I know a large portion of the fanbase is the early Gen Z group who now have to pay for their own games and that screwing up DP could possibly be irreparable as it's their childhood. As it stands, Pokémon is too big to fail in one bad game, but multiple failures in a row that ruin the reputation of the series could screw their sales numbers by Gen 9 in my opinion. Anyone want to share their thoughts?
