I'll be honest I'm not the biggest fan of this dex.. I'm really hoping we get a good variety of pokemon in the remakes. Sinnoh forms of old mons would be nice too, but unlikely since they didn't do it for Hoenn (but they did have megas.. so we should at least get something to buff old mons).

ORAS did add the small handful of cross-gen evolutions from Gen 4 into the Hoenn dex and made them available during the main game, so it's not out of the question (albeit DP did exclude a lot of Gen 4 mons from its regional dex).

Not him but a lot of them look overdesigned/artificial/plain ugly, a lot like Gen 5 but with much less clear winners. The legendaries all look the same. The only worse starter trio is Alola's. Some of the cross-gen evos are nice, though.
