People like this are so confusing to me. It seems like he understands the state of the franchise and show shitty gamefreak is, yet out of the thousands of professions available in the world he chooses to make a living off a video game he knows to be steaming dog crap? That's just so depressing. How does doing something like that not drive someone to suicide?
Its the same thing as if someone who actually cared about pokemon got a job at gamefreak and then got told to make a linear hallway that a quadruple amputee can beat blindfolded with just his starter, and then put charizard references and cutscenes in it. Any sane person would just fucking quit.
