Rotom will probably get one because GF has been shilling him real hard. Weavile for Cyrus. The starters would obviously get some. Dialga and Palkia would probably get something like primal forms. Arceus will get one. Frosslass will get one because Glailie has one. Lucario will get a second one.

Fuck kid, you really didn't watch how they handled the gimmick at all, did you? If they come back they're getting treated exactly the same as when they spent 3 years pushing them as the special mechanic and end up giving the really cool-looking shit megas instead of just the dross of what you'd listed to continue to push them at children.
But they aren't doing any of this, Dynamax is the Gen's gimmick and this constant reaching's going to be hilarious when Game Freak mindbreak you for a second time in less than 3 years.

Why drop them from the core games "if they're nit going anywhere" They were kept in SM/USM after all, they didn't want then in SS or Galar though, so never bothered adding the code to handle it, or bothered updating the models to match the new base models' looks.

Anon, megas were Gen VI's gimmick. The fact they stopped producing mega ring toys, started selling Z-Ring toys to the Japanese children as soon as Gen VII launched speaks more for the mechanic's spot in the franchise, than some incel manchild's opinion because she can't actually handle being an oirrelevance to the devs and suits involved in the brand.
The fact they've spent the last 3 Gens focusing on one gimmick for the story at a time even shows even they understand this shit better than you. Else they'd still be pushing ME for the new blood, not relegated to spin-off crap.

They're not spending money re-developing the SS engine to make megas work again kid, much less aren't even bothering to add all the ME-capable pokémon to either game in full. Shit, Dexit was the clearest indication it was gone, when they didn't even pull a "haha we hid it!" on you but told you at E3 they would NOT appear in Gen VIII, just as the full National @dex wouldn't exist in any game going forward.

They don't have to, they already have an earlier build of that same engine that's specifically designed to be used for 1-1 recreation of older gen maps.

To clarify, Masters has some Sync Bursts based on Z-Moves, but they're clarified as actually being gimped versions of the Z-Moves that just function from the Sync Stone because Necrozma's light doesn't reach Pasio for reasons and they can be used multiple times per battle.
It's why no one has a z-ring in Masters but everyone has a Mega Stone
