I must say Cinderace is the weirdest looking waifumon for me. It is clearly male looking but the art makes it to be feminine looking. I could understand about Gardevoir, Brionne/Primarina or Braixen but not Cinderace.
What exactly did you guys see in this Pokemon?

Coomers desperately looking for a waifumon this Gen, since I guess the actual waifumons like Hatterene weren't good enough for them. TCPi already stated that they want to market Cinderace like it's some Shonen Manga protagonist when they made it the ambassador/mascot of the Japan Football Association for kids.

Yeah those are obvious starter waifumons based how they marketed them, Cinderace isn't a starter waifumon.

I don't play gen 8, but when I saw the starters Rillaboom is not waifuable enough, Inteleon is obviously male so that only leaves Cinderace.

Yeah, that starter waifumon trio, thing, whatever it was, started with Serperior and ended with Primarina. Cinderace is pretty androgynous, but ultimately Tpci wants to market him as some kind of anime boy in a rabbit suit.

That argument might have been feasible if not for the gigamax form which helped feminized Cinderace more. The intent may have been to create a shonen mascot in pokemon but it feels more appropriate to see it as a tomboy. Ofcourse that's just my opinion though.

My head canon is that for humanoid pokemon, either the trainers or the pokemon themselves feel shame for them being naked, and thus wear clothes because of it. Like obviously the feral ones dont give a fuck, but the humanoid ones are supposed to be smarter
