This is it /vp/. I come from the future in an attempt to memorialize and dictate how well the remakes are received. Here's what you need to know.
>The games will be a 1-1 remake in the classic style
>There will be a tie-in with Pokemon Sleep
>GO-style catching will be implemented in some way
>Characters like Cynthia with Megas in past games will reprise their role, and some Pokemon like Jynx may receive new Megas
>Raids and Dynamax will not be included so as to not compromise SWSH sales
>The games will reflect the philosophy of modern Pokemon, despite taking inspiration from the classic style games like Gen 6 and below. This means No Game Corner, limited battle facilities, GTS still tied to HOME, the works.
>The games will feature the sum of Pokemon not featured in SWSH throughout the main and postgame, but transfers will obviously not be available so that a selling point of Gen 9 can be transferring from the remake
The games will not appear to be "Let's GO style" at first beyond the artstyle. People will be upset at this alone despite the saving grace being the gameplay staying intact as a result.
Some people will embrace the new policies, others will dismiss it anyway based on things GameFreak considers "superficial."
