I want a Druddigon cross-evo that's just the most generic, draconic pokemon to ever exist, and I want it to be Dragon/Fire as the cherry on top.

It's not "take". Drudiggon is based on gargoyles and it turns into stone when it is not in sunlight too long.
It can't be anything than Dragon/Rock.

Druddigon is based on the red-headed rock agama. Its natural appearance and cave-dwelling behavior also seem to resemble a European dragon.

Possess aspects of both so you're both actually correct. As for OP's image, I'd rather the Original Unova dragon look like that.

Druddigon's appeal is that is draws from more grotesque cave dwelling dragons, before they became further "mythified" into the typical god like dragons of lore.

Taking such into account, a dedicated Gargoyle makes the most sense.

I guess that makes sense. I just really like Druddigon, because it's one of the few dragon type pokemon that looks very draconic. That and it being a single staged pokemon gives it room for potential evolution ideas. But I guess that the most generic looking european dragon would fit for the Original Dragon(Kyurem) itself. Still, I would love for it's evo to have wings like that Gargoyle.
