Should I or should I not purify him? I googled, and guide after guide told me not to because of the way stats are measure, but Frustration is an extremely shit move and I can't change it unless he's purified.

sometimes they have events where you can tm away frustration. alternatively you could just give him a second move. I would say don't purify because shadow mewtwo is much stronger than regular mewtwo in some cases

You have to wait for a team go rocket takeover event which happens extremely rarely to tm away frustration. Yes, it sucks. You probably should've figured that out before maxing him though. Just wait for the event, do not purify him or else you're a fucking clown who wasted a shitton of dust since it's more expensive to power up shadows and you'll have lost the strongest attacker in the game by far for no reason. You can get around this by giving him a second move, but he'll still have frustration as one of his two charge moves until a takeover event

Jesus FUCKING christ no. Do not purify a mewtwo that is very barely cheaper to power up than a normal one which is much weaker than shadow mewtwo. One psystrike from shadow mewtwo in pvp can 2hko things that resist psystrike entirely. Do not purify this thing unless you already have a better shadow mewtwo.

Oh, no. I haven't maxed him, I've just made him my buddy and had him walking with me for weeks and he has 18 candy, I figure since purifying him is about to be an option I should ask around. Mine is only 927cp currently. When I try to give him another charged move it just says "Frustration cannot be forgotten at this time." How do I give him a second charged attack?
