It doesn't need a 2nd Eternatus. Meteors almost always break into pieces when they enter the atmosphere. They can just say a few small pieces landed in Sinnoh while the largest one hit Galar.

Anon ORAS is literally not the fucking Hoenn from RSE, and Sinnoh remakes will be the same fashion. There won't be any retconning because there's nothing to retcon in the first place. This Sinnoh has DMaxing, like that Hoenn had Megas.

Doesn't count. They said Pokemon could only mega evolve in Kalos or else they'd stay in their regular form.
ORAS retconned the source of mega evolution to be meteorites, they could easily make it something similar for the DP remakes.

ORAS takes place before XY (It even gives Mr. Bonding an origin story that leads into XY) and yet mega evolution is all over Hoenn and was tied directly into the region's legendary lore. They'll do something similar for DP's remake too.
