I know that no one cares but I just feel so relieved and at peace that I cant help but share.
I'm done with the franchise, I bought Pokémon Sword, tried playing it for a couple weeks and was so unimpressed that I've not touched it since and you know what? I'm totally okay with it. After years of coping and trying to fool myself I'm ready to accept that the series I so dearly loved is gone, I mean, not gone gone, I will always be down to replay the gens 1 to 5 games from time to time but I have no intention of playing any future games. It's such a relief no longer feeling bound by brand loyalty and desperately trying to hold on to hope of things getting better.
tl;dr: I'M FREE
Cheers for all the memories /vp/!
