Gen 3 killed all my interest in Pokemon.

I was *deep* into it since Blue, even being a core member of my grade school's Pokemon clique. Gold/Silver blew our minds and I loved every bit of it. Then a combination of aging and Hoenn's sucky Pokemon designs/plot just drained all the joy from my life. I didn't even buy them.

Fast forward to Diamond/Pearl. My interest was reignited enough that as a teenager I bought a DS just for them. Aaaaand didn't even manage to finish Pearl, it was so bad.

I bought OmegaRuby about two years ago and actually really enjoyed it, so long as I accepted the Pokemon designs as some of the worst of the series. Hopefully remakes of Diamond/Pearl can salvage those dumpster fires too

Nothing. Even if the newer games get so bad to the point where I can't even get the sloghest bit of enjoyment from them (which it's getting pretty damn close), I still have gens 1-5 plus dozens upon dozens of rom hacks/fan games to play.

I already only come here in spurts. I stopped coming shortly after SwSh released and only came back because of the Snap trailer. And then all the DP leaks happened, so I'll stick around until I at least see what this years game will be.

Nothing. I dropped the series after X, didn't come here, didn't pay attention to news, but I still replayed the old games I like. Then I ended up coming back when SwSh was announced.

For good? Hiroshimoot deleting it off 4chan. I take breaks from pokemon and stop coming here until x amount of time has passed and i'm back here again.

A memory wipe and hiding all Pokemon related material from my sight. Or Nintendy going full Hitler and all fan-related material being wiped from the internet as well as all computers that have ever downloaded them.
I don't really like current Pokemon but as long as I have fan content I'll be pretty happy.

To be perfectly, perfectly honest?

I think I'm screwed. I was never on the "Pokemon sucks after Gen5"-Train, but SwSh really dissapointed me in alot of ways... But someone gifted me it for christmas 2 years ago and I ended up loving it. Even though the Dex-cut happened and the game looks like a 3DS Game in HD and the story was complete shit the Gyms were amazingly done and I'm a sucker for the competitive scene be it Smogon 6v6, Battlespot Ranked 3v3 or VGC.

Unless they make Pokemon something like NOT an RPG (somehow) I think I'm stuck here for life.
