How different is Psychic Specters from the base versions? Is 3 an improvement upon 2, generally? The battle system looks weird to me.

In terms of comfy then 2 is probably better, 3 is more urban than countryside comfy but it’s fun. I really loved how the US town was done.The midwest suburb comfiness was strong there.

You can go back to the countryside in 3 but it's just a couple side quests. Infinite Tunnel is now Infinite Field and pretty much a bunch of farmland.
