Finally got around to playing/beating this game over the week. Just feels like this was wasted potential, even after the dex cut. Some pokemon have really interesting animations thrown onto them, like skuntank's tail opening up and glowing purple, or galarian rapidash's entire mane glowing. Even cutting the Elite 4 to do a gym leader tournament felt like a cool idea, especially if it was randomized a little, or you could have post game tournaments.

Did anyone feel like the Wild Area detracted from the overall game? Routes felt like a chore after a point because I just went to the wild area and caught some of my favorites, did some dynamax fights and leveled up my team.
