I care about the wild area being dogshit(both in terms of visual design as well as gameplay balance, who the fuck thought it would be a good idea to let you run into level 40 mons while you're running around with a level 8 starter and a ratmon?). The cities feel barren and the few routes and the single cave we got are all just straight lines. I play pokemon games to explore the region and get to know the main characters(the gym leaders, elite 4, champ and rival), I think SwSh did a decent job in terms of showing us the gym leader personalities but everything else about the game felt half baked.
