This. It makes sense considering Kanto was the only region it appeared in naturally, so this is one of those cases I hope they keep giving it a new regional form.

I hope there's a more even spread of Pokemon from different regions. It's like 35% KANTOOOOOOO. I think it could be cool if we got something like a snow owl Hoothoot/Noctowl.

Regional forms are hands down the coolest concept in recent generations and it has such a spotty track record because they're dead set on making half of them meme forms. But desu as long as they give us a new Meowth and at least one or two other cool ones I'm happy.

Honestly none of those bother me outside of Galarian Weezing. I really like how gen 8 tested the waters further though. We got new evolutions, and legendries. I hope they keep growing more comfortable with it in gen 9. It's the only thing from the newer games that they really seem confident in.

I was praying for a Galarian Gumshoos based on sherlock homes or just a generic british detective with a pipe, etc.

If he's in the next gen maybe he'll get a form then, or at least be in the games. Gumshoos dex entry does say they were imported from another region.
