>>46002954why would you put yellow and crystal on the same tier of the other games from their generation? a clear reasoning for why you would wanna play the re release is that its a refined and better game. for example with yellow, you get to collect all 3 starters. keep in mind that not ever kid on the block had a trading so you could get every starter. and as for crystal version you can collect all the legendries and for at least virtual console players you can get a legit mythical celebi.
clearly you didnt think these differences out when judging what makes a game good and choose to lump them together as one. if you were to go out and buy one of these generations, you would notice the re release version is overall more valued, because its clearly better. and for good reason you get all the bells and whistles, and by even todays standards the games are extremely difficult to complete the dex if that what you are trying to accomplish.
