Then it got even worse than link cables with a subscription app and removing features to put in it. See this is why your whole but online but 400 doesn't work as a point. The fewer selling point it has the better it needs to do them. But online play is still pretty crappy, they've removed many battles types and less pokemon means less variety in the battles. Oh but the adventure, on smaller routes with fewer dungeons. More poorly animated cutscene though.
