Zeraora is shit, not to mention a mythical that hardly gets to be used. I do think Electric types might eventually get a bone tossed their way but that dumb lynx-dude-thing doesn't really factor into anything.

I 2HKOed Leon's Gigantamaxed Charizard with Boldtund's Thunder Fang boosted by Choice Band. Boltund outspeeded it despite being 4-5 levels lower. And its Zard's Max Rockfall couldn't take down Boltund in one hit because with Ancient Power as the base the Max Move was kind of weak.

Too bad Boltund is weak as shit. I had that fucker with a goddamn expert belt with strong jaw to boot and even STILL boltund only did about 75% damage. How the fuck you cant 1 shot something with a expert belt boosted with strong jaw and using stab thunder fang is fucking beyond me

I got good mileage out of Boltund in the game. Nuzzle is like Thunder Wave with 100% accuracy and does a bit of damage to boot. You can also cripple powerful opponents with Charm or Eerie Impulse. And it's Strong Jaw Ability makes good use of Crunch, Thunder Fang, Fire Fang, and Psychic Fangs. Dig and Play Rough also came in handy for certain battles.

You're not making the dog look good anon, Boltund is still shit. It's not even that hard to outspeed Charizard with a mon who's base speed is it's only good stat. Also, the fact you needed a Choice Band doesn't help when other mons could've gotten a clean OHKO on it without such items when Boltund could apparently only get a 2HKO.

While Boltund isn't very good it could still take down Charizard even if the AI did pick the optimal move with a Max Lightning with Wild Charge as the base, especially if it was boosted by an Expert Belt or Life Orb.

Because they are very effective against their favorite type, water.
It would be totally unfair if there were Pokémon that could reliably beat water types, so Ice was given no resistance or effective attack against water even though it makes sense, plant is... you know, one of the worst types possible with awful attacks to counteract the fact that that they would otherwise totally counter water types due to their resistance and very effective attacks and Electric has to be kept in check, too.
