They work iin 3 year cycles anon, dexit feeds into this - if they cut the 'dex, they don't need to stress about getting everything ready in three years. Should have realised this when they announced Dexit AND launched their new game on-schedule.

The DLC was a rehash, thus they treated it like USM and spent a year with it as focus. Gen IX's launching next year as planned back in 2019.
