It's funny; Kris is the only character who never got a redesign (from the games that were remade) and because of that she sticks out like a sore thumb in Masters with that angular face and thin eyes from the old art style while everyone else from Johto looks daresay moe in comparison.
I guess that's just what happens when your art style shifts as quickly as Sugimori's did.
