I only now realized that the idea they were going for was a bird that represents Christmas and a bird that represents Halloween.

Now that I think about it... it now makes a lot more sense why they weirdly chose to make delibird's bag it's tail - it goes along with murkrow's tail being a broomstick

The RTC in the gen2 cartridges already does, it's just that the games never uses it. I wonder of that one harvest moon game did. Prism, a rom hack, does.
