1- Ask Oleana what the big explosion noise was, she lies to him, that's that. All he did was the equivalent of a phone call.
2- Fight a giant Perrserker, which again, you get to do later anyway and against monsters that are less of a chump than Perrserker
And that is... it. All Leon did was sit thru a cutscene and fight a giant pokemon, things you definitely do yourself too multiple times. It's absolutely exageration to act like he was having an adventure we did not have.
