The only Hoenn Pokemon i tolerate or kinda like now are Sceptile, Lairon, Milotic, Dusclops.... that’s about it. ALL the other ones I either don’t care or feel disdain for. EVERYONE who saw Gen 3 felt this way, EVERYONE. It wasn't 2-3 people. It wasn't "you just grew up!" You HAD to be there to realize that Hoenn was fucking shit, and that Johto, even fucking THE FUCKING HITMONTOP, WOOPER AND SNEASEL THAT HOENNBABY #408215 posted, was infinitely better.
