Doesn't dynamax have a bunch of specific conditions to be met (dynamax energy, stadium, max factor, etc) Unless eternatus turns into pokechernobyl and radiates that shit everywhere it's much easier to slap a rock on a pokemon so it goes super sayian, easier to portray and justify outside of viyidiyia

I can't believe I'm saying this but megas were at least somewhat plausible since evolution stones already existed, shitty particles that make your pokemon big for a limited amount of time is beyond stupid.
I don't really like either of them, but fuck dynamax give me mega anyday over that.

Much like everything else in the games, Gen 6 did it best and the sad excuse for copycats in 7 and 8 did nothing but bastardize it further.
I actually liked the minigames, it's the only reason I accepted the removal of the Game Corner in ORAS.
